"Empire Moonrise"

Everything came together at the right moment when I created this image. I traveled to Hoboken,NJ on a warm January afternoon knowing that I would have a good chance of capturing the nearly Full Moon rising over the Empire State Building. Indeed just as the sun was setting the moon appeared, along with some rather thick high clouds. But just at the last moment a gap appeared in the clouds - a perfect frame for the Moon. I was only able to snap two or three photographs before the moon disappeared again and the image was gone.
